Inspired by tragedy, BANDADE was founded by Caitlyn Grabenstein in 2013 as a charitable business to raise money through music for people affected by cancer. BANDADE started with auctioning autographed merchandise to raise money and donate. Participating artists included Tyler the Creator, Florence Welch, Imagine Dragons, the Goo Goo Dolls, Post Malone, Maren Morris, Ingrid Michaelson, Judah & the Lion, Fun., Alabama Shakes, Jason Isbell, Iron & Wine, and more. BANDADE went on to host over 50 benefit concerts and over 60 different musicians in over 10 different cities. BANDADE also went on tour and was sponsored by Yeti, Maaco, Rugged Ridge, Napier Sports, La Colombe, United by Blue, and Powerwerks. The charitable business was featured in PhillyVoice.
BANDADE now simply operates as a charity, run by Caitlyn to help music fans affected by cancer. #lovemusicfightcancer
